“In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems." -Rumi
This is the story of Suparna and Amit, longtime sweethearts who finally tied the knot in the picturesque Stevens Estate.
Within the many existing Hindu traditions of marriage, this unique wedding was also at a crossroad between the bengali (bride's side) and punjabi (groom's side) cultures. The pictures show how well they got mixed!
It was a beautiful day with predictions of a little rain. With the entire wedding set up outdoors, this was a cause for slight anxiety, being in New England. But except for a few drops which actually cooled an otherwise hot day of June, everything else went as planned.
Something about the beautiful heritage building in the location with its magnificent rooms and decor that made all the wedding images stunning. The open dance floor with strings of lights got even more grand when the moon came up through the cloud; made the night surreal.
Now happily married, Suparna and Amit are settled in sunny California!
